Notes from 2025
What we built, what we learned, and where we’re going next.
Hi,
How did you start 2026? We’re pretty excited.
2025 was the year c+e hub stopped being an idea and started becoming a real thing. Slowly, deliberately, and mostly through people. The biggest lesson was simple: when you create the right context, connection does the rest.
What we built in 2025
We experimented, hosted, listened, adjusted.
At the centre of it was Beta Bar: a lightweight format with a serious intention. We moved through neighbourhoods, gathered in small bars, and tried to rebuild a sense of “village” inside the city, one conversation at a time. Every edition reminded us that community isn’t a concept, it’s a practice.
Alongside that, we worked on creating: websites, copy, and brand systems that bring order, clarity, and tone to projects that deserve to be understood properly. Less noise, more structure.
Where we want to focus in 2026
In 2026 we want to sharpen the direction and go deeper into what feels most natural for us: placemaking, community activation, and branding, always grounded in real spaces and real people.
We’re organising our work around three simple pillars:
+happening: Beta Bar and Neighbourhood Activations
+inspiring: People, Conversations, Portraits, Micro-stories
+creating: Tangible Outputs (identity, storytelling, systems, maps, tools)
And we’re committing to one steady rhythm: a monthly newsletter. Short, consistent, and useful.
A proper thank you
None of this exists without trust. Thank you to everyone who collaborated, hosted, supported, documented, introduced, and pushed us forward. If you were part of this year in any way, you’re part of the hub. (And if weI’ve missed your name in a public thank-you somewhere, tell me and I’ll fix it properly.)
Open call for 2026
If what we’re building resonates, we’d love to involve more people next year.
We’re looking for collaborators who want to:
+ co-host a Beta Bar or propose a neighbourhood / bar
+ help us document (photo, video, writing, interviews)
+ bring a theme, project, or community to activate
+ or simply contribute with ideas, connections, and energy
Reply to this email with one line, even if it’s just a coffee and a conversation, that’s a start.
Our site (still evolving) is here: https://cplusehub.framer.website/
Thank you for being around this year.
See you in 2026.
With care,
c+e hub
